REGISTRATION IS OPEN! (until March 10th)
Dates: 17/8 – 19/8 (immediately after the SCAR Open Science conference in Oslo)
Maximum 75 participants (first come, first served)
Abstracts
Abstracts will be collected at a later date, as we encourage presentation of on-going work, and initial reports of fresh observations from the 2025-2026 season. There will be a mixture of oral and poster presentations.
Costs & accomodation:
The conference fee will be paid at the station (~4712 SEK for staying on site, ~3854 SEK if organising your own accommodation, including meals). We are working to secure travel support and/or fee reduction for Early Career Researchers, so please indicate if you would like to access potential support.
On-site accommodation is shared, and a sign-up form will be sent separately (with opportunity to choose your roommates). Most rooms are doubles, with some triples and 4/5 person rooms. There are nearby hotels for those who do not wish to share a room, but those must be booked yourself. Hotel options are in Fiskebäckskil (Gullmarstrand hotel, 15 minute walk to Kristineberg), or in Lyseskil (many hotel options, 15 minute ferry).
If you wish to stay at Kristineberg any nights before FRISP, on the weekend, please email your request to Booking.kmf@polar.se .
Travel
Getting to the Kristineberg Center is possible by public transport: you take the 841 bus from Gothenburg central station to Lysekil, and catch the 847 ferry from there to Kristineberg (via Fiskebäckskil). Updated timetables, or alternative routes, can be found at vasttrafik.se.
From Oslo, you can catch a bus to Herrestad, and change onto the 845 bus directly to Kristineberg, or first taking the train/bus to Gothenburg, then following the above instructions.
